Belmont Home Sales Span $675,000 to $3 Million as 18 Deeds Recorded in Late Summer

Nine deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $675,000 for a Gilbert Road condominium unit to $3 million for a home at 28 Tyler Road, the period's top sale. The median disclosed price was $1.7 million. Seven of the 18 transfers, about 39%, moved property into a trust held by the same family, a common estate-planning pattern; one property transferred to an LLC. No street recorded more than one sale. Beds, baths and square footage were not available in deed records for this period.
