Forever Fab opens Payson Park Music Festival's 13th summer season with Beatles night
BELMONT — July 9, 2025 — Forever Fab Beatles tribute band opened the Payson Park Music Festival's summer season Wednesday in Belmont, playing its 13th consecutive year of concerts at the outdoor venue. The all-request show covered more than two dozen songs, from "Love Me Do" and "Day Tripper" through the Abbey Road closing medley of Golden Slumbers, Carry That Weight, and The End. Board member David Amelo addressed the crowd mid-show to thank sponsors including the Spirited Gourmet in Cushing Square, the Toy Shop of Belmont, and the Belmont Center Business Association, and directed attendees to the festival's streaming and schedule site at ppmf.org. The four-piece band — Bob Hinsman on drums, Bill Dunham and Kevin Juley on keys and guitars, and Phil on acoustic guitar — closed the evening just as darkness fell, promising to return next summer.
