Zoning Board approves two residential additions, continues one

BELMONT — Zoning Board of Appeals approves two residential special permits on January 5. The board voted 5-0 to approve Daniel Fonseca's two special permits for a rear addition, front porch, and rear deck at 7 Oak Avenue, which required relief from lot coverage (proposed 28.51 percent versus 25 percent allowed) and front setback limits (proposed 17.5 feet versus 25 feet required). In a separate 5-0 vote, the board also approved Borys Shepov's two special permits at 30 Madison Street for additions requiring side setback and lot coverage relief.

Chair Casey Williams' board voted 6-0 to continue a third application at 50 Hillside Terrace to a future meeting and scheduled an unadvertised case at 69-71 Slade Street for the February 2 meeting.
