BELMONT — Warrant Committee previewed Town Meeting articles without taking formal action. Chair Paul Rickter led an informational session reviewing anticipated Annual Town Meeting items including consent agenda approvals, Community Preservation Committee projects, and a proposed $125,000 two-year pilot paramedic training program funded through free cash. The Committee deferred formal votes to future meetings while discussing a Retirement Board proposal to increase the pension COLA base from $13,000 to $15,000, a stormwater easement at 115 Leonard Street, revolving fund amendments, and citizen petitions on warrant procedures and hybrid Town Meetings.

Town Meeting Member Peg Callanan urged the Committee to support Senior Center improvements citing safety hazards from flooring deterioration.
