BELMONT — Warrant Committee subcommittee plans FY27 budget reviews and recommends Town Clerk compensation study. The Infrastructure Subcommittee, comprising Warrant Committee members Lynn Peterson-Read, Marie Warner, and Tom Caputo, along with subcommittee members Conor McEachern and Corinne McCue Olmsted, allocated eight town departments for FY27 review, with Caputo handling Fire and Warner managing Information Technology. Members agreed to recommend that the town establish a dedicated human resources group to conduct formal job evaluations and wage and compensation studies for town managers and the elected Town Clerk, aimed at achieving compensation parity and addressing a job description last formally updated in 2011.
