Belmont Recreation Commission approves Champions Soccer permit and adjusts 2026 camp fees. The commission unanimously granted Champions Soccer School use of PQ Park from June 22 through August 28 at $500 per week for grades 2-8. For summer camps, resident weekly fees for SKIP, Camp Cushing, and Camp Waverley rise to $380 (from $365); non-resident fees to $430 (from $415); extended-day to $180; Camp Adventure to $490; and the CIT program to $200 per two-week session (previously $50 weekly).
Last summer's camps generated $426,000 in revenue against $270,000 in expenses, producing a $155,000 surplus that funds year-round recreation operations. Registration opens January 20, with residents receiving priority enrollment.
