BELMONT — Police Chief Screening Committee approves prior minutes and organizes its interview process. Chair Mark Paolillo led the nine-member committee in consolidating interview questions into seven topic areas and limiting structured interviews to approximately ten primary questions per candidate during one-hour sessions. The committee scheduled an executive session for January 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM to review qualified applicants following the January 16 job posting closure.
Structured interviews are set for January 31, 2026, with an assessment center tentatively scheduled for February 7, 2026 at a location outside town buildings, and a post-assessment review meeting for February 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM to determine finalists for the Select Board.
