BELMONT — Police Chief Screening Committee advances three finalists for board consideration. The committee voted unanimously in executive session to recommend Shane Woodson, Shane Smith, and Daniel Unsworth to the Select Board after evaluating candidate performance and qualifications through an assessment center and interview process. Committee Chair Mark Paolillo convened the meeting at 5:00 PM and noted that closed session was necessary to avoid deterring qualified applicants.
All seven committee members voted to advance the three candidates.
