BELMONT — Planning Board approves two permits; pauses contested addition. The board unanimously approved a protected accessory dwelling unit at 54 Park Road for Deidre O'Doherty-Houtmeyers and a second-story addition at 16 Audrey Road for Aihua Liu, a 110.1 percent gross floor area increase. The board continued Case 25-12 at 50 Hillside Terrace to April 14, after neighbors and two attorneys challenged John Manning Jr.'s proposed 135.3 percent expansion, citing privacy impacts and setback concerns.
Vice Chair Renee Guo proposed a condition requiring return to the board if measured square footage exceeds advertised amounts.
