BELMONT — Planning Board approves prior meeting minutes, with name correction. The Board voted unanimously to approve the February 17, 2026 minutes with a correction to member Alisa Gardner-Todreas's name, and approved the February 3, 2026 minutes with two abstentions from Chair Thayer Donham and member Andrew Osborn. Director Chris Ryan briefed the Board on the Belmont Center Overlay District and Brighton Street overlay district zoning projects, reporting that some amendments passed a recent Special Town Meeting with a November 1, 2026 implementation date.
Mr. Ryan said the effort may be renamed "Hill's Crossing" and that Able City will conduct community engagement workshops and focus groups for the Brighton Street project.
