Belmont's new Moderator Advisory Council held its inaugural meeting and developed committee interview questions. Moderator Adam Dash convened the eight precinct representatives Adriana Poole, Rosemary Burke, Liz Allison, Debra Deutsch, Tommasina Olson, John Bowe, Joan Drevins, and Mark Paolillo to help vet candidates. Interviews for the Warrant Committee, Bylaw Review Committee, Permanent Building Advisory Committee, and Comprehensive Capital Budget Committee are scheduled for August 10, 12, and 17.
Public comment on applicants is open through August 26; appointments will be made by August 31.
