BELMONT — Moderator's Advisory Committee endorsed Bill Shea for reappointment to the Permanent Building Advisory Committee after reviewing his 20 years of construction and town project experience. Moderator Mike Crowley announced his support and said he would send a confirmation letter. The committee also reviewed Town Meeting Member survey results showing 98 of 137 respondents favor remote attendance options over in-person-only meetings.
For the March 4 Special Town Meeting, 80 members plan to attend in person, 24 remotely, and 30 in hybrid format. The survey also found 63 of 137 respondents oppose the Moderator setting overall debate limits on articles.
