Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of March 31, 2026

BELMONT — The Board of Library Trustees approved a $20,000 transfer and increased revolving fund spending limits. Chair Kathy Keohane and Trustee Gail Mann, completing their 12-year terms April 7, were honored by Library Director Struzziero and the board. The board unanimously approved the transfer to cover plant and custodial expenses running higher than architect projections.

It voted 5 in favor and 1 abstention to increase the Copier/Printer and Lost Book Replacement Fund limit from $15,000 to $25,000 and to set the Room Rental Revolving Fund limit at $50,000, with Vice Chair Corinne McCue Olmsted abstaining on both changes; both will go to Town Meeting for approval. The library building project exhausted all contingency funds but is expected to return approximately $500,000 to the town.
