BELMONT — Library Building Committee approves $641,000 in invoices and change orders for ongoing construction. Committee Chair Clair Colburn oversaw unanimous approval of invoices totaling approximately $641,000 from vendors including Tucker Library Interiors ($426,310.65 for steel shelving), G&R ($46,261 for February construction work), and CHA ($47,164 for owner's project management). The committee also approved G&R Change Order #20 for $42,986 covering nine separate change requests and a Creative Office Resources furniture quote for $159,504.34 to be funded by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.
The committee declined approval of a $17,000 McPhail Associates invoice for additional foundation observations, directing Oudens-Ello to communicate the decision to the general contractor.
