Library Building Committee Approves $150K in Construction Invoices, Change Orders

BELMONT — Library Building Committee approves 14 invoices and change orders totaling more than $674,000. The committee unanimously approved construction payments from G&R ($483,903.47), CHA ($39,500), and design firm Oudens-Ello ($70,795 combined), as well as two change orders for $78,447 in additional construction modifications. Chair Clair Colburn received authority to approve furniture purchases up to $80,000, and the committee approved a $1,000 contribution to the Garden Club for landscaping around EV chargers.
Library Director Peter Struzziero reported plumbing problems caused by improper material disposal and raised concerns over EV parking space availability during snowy weather.
