BELMONT — Land Management Committee for Lone Tree Hill unanimously approves tree work and volunteer planting. The committee backed Tree Specialists Inc. for removal of a downed silver maple branch and minor pruning at 745 dollars, plus a 75-tree planting project estimated at 9,050 dollars and fully funded by the Judy Record Fund. The planting includes 15 replacement trees along Pine Alley and 60 new plantings in Area A.

An ongoing trail signage project remains in production, with NEMBA installation anticipated in late spring.
