Land Management Committee approves trail closures, bike signage for Lone Tree Hill.

Land Management Committee for Lone Tree Hill · Meeting of May 7, 2026

BELMONT — Land Management Committee for Lone Tree Hill approves trail modifications and Waypoint Adventure barn use. The committee unanimously voted to close a trail crossing from Belmont Hill Club property to Lone Tree Hill by placing boulders in a stone wall gap, install "no-bike" signage on the Pine Allee, and close a "rogue" trail across the Great Meadow to protect ground-nesting birds and habitat. The committee also unanimously approved Waypoint Adventure's proposal to use the McLean Barn for environmental education and accessible outdoor recreation programs, authorizing Committee Co-Chair Radha Iyengar to coordinate a barn tour with architects.

The cell tower agreement has generated $28,950 in initial payments plus $3,628 monthly.
