BELMONT — Land Management Committee for Lone Tree Hill approves $1,915 invasive species treatment proposal. The seven-member committee unanimously backed the Tree Specialists, Inc. invoice to treat invasive species along the Pine Allee and stone wall at Concord Avenue, with the Judy Record Conservation Fund committing to fund 50 percent of invasive control costs. The committee also unanimously approved six dog waste reminder signs at $29.50 each from the Department of Public Works and endorsed a tree-friendly screw-and-spring method for attaching directional signs, with Mark Smith tasked to coordinate installation with NEMBA volunteers.
