Belmont Energy Committee approves 2025 annual report and advances multiple renewable initiatives. Co-Chairs Brian Kopperl and Roger Wrubel oversaw unanimous approval of prior minutes and the annual report pending edits. Kevin Bleau reported a request for qualifications about to be awarded to assess the viability and lifespan of the Wellington School roof for solar installation, while the committee explores a Pleasant Street site near Belmont Cityside Subaru as a potential charging location for electric school buses.

Bleau is collaborating with Srishti Kar and John Moon of the Belmont High and Middle School Climate Action Club to obtain solar generation and consumption data from the school.
