Belmont's economic development committee extended its Hill's Crossing zoning survey for additional weeks to address community concerns. The Economic Development Advisory Committee, led by Co-Chair Marie Warner, reviewed survey results showing 55 percent positive sentiment overall for the proposed Brighton Street zoning changes, though traffic and parking emerged as dominant concerns. The committee decided to extend outreach for one to two additional weeks and draft a frequently asked questions document to address resident concerns.
The committee also welcomed new member Nichole Bookwalter Savenor, who brings 20 years of real estate experience.
