Council on Aging elects new chair and vice-chair

BELMONT — Council on Aging elects Paolillo chair as board endorses walkability pilot. Mark Paolillo and Andrea Hassol were elected to two-year terms as Chair and Vice-Chair respectively. Town Administrator Patrice Garvin presented $125,000 in painting and carpeting estimates for the Beech Street Center, with $45,000 available from existing resources and $80,000 requiring Town Meeting approval on May 4.
The Board conditionally endorsed a Belmont Walkability Pilot Program targeting two key routes, subject to confirmation that necessary sidewalk data does not already exist from prior Department of Public Works studies.
