BELMONT — Comprehensive plan advances with June public forum and December adoption vote. The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee finalized revised timelines for the town's comprehensive plan update during its April 6 meeting. Director of Planning and Building Chris Ryan reported that the next consultant draft from VHB is expected by April 17 and a public forum is scheduled for June, followed by a public implementation roundtable in summer.
The Planning Board is expected to formally adopt the plan around December 1, with the final draft delivered to the town in November. Matt Taylor will serve as the committee's new Select Board liaison.
