BELMONT — The Comprehensive Capital Budget Committee discussed moving Chenery roof articles to spring Town Meeting, extending final construction by one year. Goeff Lubien explained the timing change and noted that David Blazon was coordinating with the Massachusetts School Building Authority to confirm the delay would not jeopardize MSBA funding. The committee also discussed a proposed Stormwater Enterprise Fund structured around usage-based fees and a proposed Sustainability position focused on energy grants, initially to be funded from discretionary capital budget, with the position posted for early 2027.
Updated cost estimates were requested for Harris Field projects.
