BELMONT — Capital committee prepares March Town Meeting agenda with $929,000 solar grant. Chair Chris Doyle led members through planning for 41 proposed articles, including eight citizen petitions. Town Administrator Patrice Garvin reported the town has $929,000 in expected federal funding for school solar projects and approximately $1 million in available in-levy debt capacity.

The February 5 budget summit has been postponed pending new health insurance rates and state aid confirmation, both needed before the town budget can be finalized.
