BELMONT — Comprehensive Capital Budget Committee elected Doyle chair, Pikcilingis secretary in opening meeting. Christine Doyle and Aaron Pikcilingis were elected in 6-0 votes, each abstaining from voting on their own election. The committee received an update on the Chenery Roof project, which now carries an estimated cost of $7.2 million, up from $4.2 million, due to Americans with Disabilities Act compliance requirements and solar-ready upgrades required by the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

The committee is developing capital funding policies and scheduling three fiscal summits for October 8, December 3, and tentatively March 4, 2027.
