BELMONT — The Belmont Board of Health approved a training variance for a body art permit applicant. Rubia Chowdhury of Pretty Brows sought relief from the Anatomy and Physiology requirement, and board members determined a Save Each Life course qualifies as an acceptable substitute, provided she submits documentation of 2400 hours of experience. Public Health Nurse David Neylon noted Chowdhury holds a current permit from Cambridge, which enforces the same experience threshold.
The Board also approved April meeting minutes by a 3-0 vote.
