Belmont Sets New Ballot Colors for September Primary
Belmont Town Hall issued new guidance today on ballot colors for the upcoming primary election, while the Health Department continues to push back-to-school vaccine appointments as families gear up for the fall.

The Town Clerk's office announced new primary election ballot colors effective September 1, 2026, part of routine preparation ahead of this fall's elections. The notice, posted twice to the town's News Flash feed on Monday morning, gives residents advance notice of the color-coding system that will distinguish party ballots at the polls.
The Belmont Health Department is also offering back-to-school immunization appointments for Belmont students and residents age 18 and under, covering vaccines required for school enrollment. Officials are encouraging families to book slots now before the rush of late-August appointments.

Belmont Public Schools has opened registration for the 2026-2027 school year, according to the district website, giving families a head start on enrollment paperwork before classes resume this fall.
