Belmont's Senior Tax Relief Working Group advanced two warrant articles for spring town meeting. The group reviewed Article 32, establishing a proxy option for seniors unable to work in the Senior Tax Work Off Program, with a $50,000 annual impact covered by overlay funds, and Article 33, seeking state approval for a one-time CPI adjustment to income and asset eligibility baselines. Mark Paolillo agreed to present both articles at town meeting on June 8.

Assistant Town Administrator Matt Haskell and member Dan Dargon committed to refining impact estimates for Article 33.
