Housing Trust · Meeting of June 16, 2026

BELMONT — The Belmont Housing Trust approved prior meeting minutes and prepared for an August 4th joint session with the Planning Board on the Hills Crossing Overlay District zoning. Conor McCormack, Planning Manager, reported the district was renamed after Henry Hill, a historical local farm owner, and will host a housing-focused hearing tentatively scheduled for August 4th. The Trust discussed annual fair housing training, ideally in winter or early spring; approximately 25 people attended the May training.

Proposed amendments to Section 6.10 on inclusionary zoning received general Planning Board support after a June 6th public hearing opened. Michael Marotta resigned from the Age-Friendly Action Committee due to scheduling conflicts; Tommasina Olson volunteered to replace him.
