Belmont capital committee prepares report as healthcare costs threaten budget. Member Chris Doyle briefed the committee on Multi-year Budget Advisory Committee concerns about rising healthcare expenses and a retirement board cost-of-living adjustment that would add an estimated $500,000 to the FY2027 budget.
