Assessors approve prior minutes, discuss CAMA upgrade

Belmont Board of Assessors discusses Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal system upgrade planned for late April. Chair Daniel A. Dargan, based on guidance from the state Department of Revenue, recommended engaging an outside consultant to assist with the conversion to ensure compliance with Commonwealth standards.
The Board approved prior meeting minutes unanimously and signed weekly tax exemption and abatement lists totaling $19,151.02 in exempted taxes. The Board deferred further review of an abatement application from Mr. Shubin of 78 Chilton Street to its next meeting on March 30, 2026.
