BELMONT — Age Friendly Action Plan Committee unanimously backs CPA seating project at Brendan Grant fields. The committee also heard a walkability initiative led by Zehra Abid-Wood, who presented a proposal to the Council on Aging on January 12 focusing on two routes connecting major town destinations; a spring study is planned with recommendations to follow. Committee members were encouraged to volunteer at the April 29 Age in Place Resource Fair, featuring 40 or more vendors.
The Outdoor Spaces project at Chenery School is under budget, allowing potential purchases of age-friendly benches.
